Southend Building Products, Inc. began in 2001 with the idea of reclaiming the heart pine used in the construction of textile mills in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Southend would source beams and decking from sites under demolition, have the wood milled to the specifications for special orders, and deliver heart pine flooring, cabinets, and trim to the retail store where the ultimate customer had placed the order.
